The Game 2008: Ohio State vs Michigan

Everyone knew this was gonna happen. Im not to dissapointed, because we dont have a QB, so there wasnt really any hope going into this one. Minor played well, only one that looked like he tried, besides the D, except when your out there the whole game, big plays are bound to happen. Time to wait till next year, but I know for fact next year will be a much better season. One thing though that bothered me, was watching Tressel throw the ball when OSU is up 42-7. I know if you cant stop them its your fault, beat them as bad as you can, but this game isnt about running up the score, its a little bit more class. Oh well, I hate Schafer as our D coordinator. Congrats on your 5th straight, because it will be a new streak for Michigan in 365 days  (Hopefully)

The 2nd and 3rd string players practice just as hard the 1st stringers do.  When they get in the game they should be able to play.

As I watched the end of the game, I was thinking that our 2nd and 3rd teamers could have beaten this Michigan team.

Bluntly, this isn't CYO ball. You don't want to be blown out that bad - the players need to play better. A few seasons back, I remember seeing Desmond Howard ( a weenie - but an Ohio native ) do his Heisman pose, and how pissed off I was about that. I'm sure the players felt that way as well. If the Wolves are smart, they will use this drubbing as motivation for future contests.

Looking for a little help locating video/dvd footage of the game....my daughter is a sophomore at OSU and was on the ABC coverage of the game during the 4th qtr.  Thx for any assistance.

you know i like tressel but what is he doing trowing the ball in the fourth quarter when we are up 42-7. that is so dumb i know they wasnt gonna catch up but still run the ball and run the clock down so the humiliation of michigan fans will start sooner and last longer. go bucks

Tressel should've put 60 points up on Michigan.............

I have no problem with Tressel doing that. If you think that is horrible, back in 1902 Michigan put up 86 on us, and we didn't score a single point.

Screw that crap.............put a choke hold on them and don't let up.

1902 compared to 2008 are totally different. If that did happen though, it would give Michigan a lot more motivation for next year.
